At Arun Priyanka Health Foundation Trust (APHFT), we understand that the journey doesn’t end with treatment. Our rehabilitation services are designed to help cancer patients and survivors regain physical, emotional, and social well-being to lead fulfilling lives post-treatment.
The patients and their relatives are referred to the centre by various hospitals and treatment centers. They are trained in various skills, given monthly wages, conveyance expenses, children’s school fees, medical aid and rations from the food bank. Thousands of cancer patients and their family members have been supported over the years. They are allowed time off as required for their treatment. The supportive environment boosts morale. Unconditional job opportunity and special vocational training is either given in-house or sponsored for the deserving candidates. A number of them have subsequently found gainful employment outside the association making use of the training received here.
We facilitate monthly support group meetings for survivors, where they can connect, share experiences, and find strength in unity.
Services like yoga, mindfulness, art therapy, and laughter therapy are introduced to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
Your contribution can help a patient recover, walk again, speak again, or smile again. Consider donating or volunteering with APHFT’s rehabilitation programs and change lives.
